Despite postponement, Clarion County Recycling Day is a hit

Workers at the Clarion County Recycling Day sorted through old computers and broken TVs before placing them on pallets and sealing them in plastic so they can be loaded into trucks for removal, on Sunday.

The annual Clarion County Recycling Day was delayed by weather but saw strong turnout despite the postponement. Volunteers, including county employees, assisted in managing the collection of old electronics. Despite brief rain delays and a shortage of volunteers, the event successfully diverted numerous items from landfills. Organizer Kristi Amato praised attendees’ patience and thanked various county departments and companies for their support.
