Members and friends of the Hasson Heights Community Church Moving With Purpose running group met Saturday morning, Dec. 24, 2016, for their annual day-before-Christmas run. Three members started at 4:15 a.m. and ran from downtown Oil City to the church, where they met the another seven runners. The group ran around the Hasson Heights area for a few miles before heading back downtown to meet the another nine members of the group. The entire group then ran throughout the downtown area. Members of the group ran anywhere from 3 to 17 miles, depending on when they joined in. As part of their tradition, the group posed in front of the Christmas tree in the town square for a commemorative photo. (Submitted photo)
