Crash in Butler Co. results in death of man, 18

Butler state police said an 18-year-old man was killed in a crash in Worth Township on Sunday afternoon.

Police said the man, who was driving a silver Ford Fusion, entered the intersection of Route 108 and Interstate 79 northbound at 4:30 p.m. after failing to stop at a stop sign.

Police said his vehicle was struck on the driver’s side by a silver Subaru Forester driven by Robert Richardson, 34, of Bessemer.

Police said the 18-year-old was transported to Grove City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
