Howard took second place in the photo story category for “Honoring Veterans”, Fischer took first place with “Freedom” and Perry took second place with “Lifted Spirits” in the news photo category, and Uddin and Seigworth took second place in the video story category with “Student Shares: Inspires Others to be Kind.” The Student Keystone Press Awards contest recognizes high school and college journalism that provides relevance, integrity and initiative in serving readers.
