City of Franklin contractor Suit-Kote is applying crack seal treatment to roads in the Franklin Heights area starting today.
Work will be completed on Wendy Way; Forest Lane to the water tank end; Evergreen Drive from 15th Street to Edgewood Drive; and South Edgewood Drive from Evergreen Drive to Evergreen Arbors.
Following the crack sealing, a final slurry seal treatment will be applied to the streets, weather permitting.
There will be traffic delays and possible road detours in the affected areas.
Suit-Kote representatives will travel door-to-door to notify residents prior to the slurry seal treatment being applied.
The slurry seal will only be applied to half the road at a time, so roads will not be completely shut down. Vehicular traffic will not be allowed on the slurry seal until it dries.
