After the induction ceremonies there will be a brief reception. Doors open at 6:45 p.m.

Created by the Oil City Chapter, Izaak Walton League of America in partnership with Venango Campus in 2011, the Conservation Hall of Fame honors men and women who have made significant and lasting contributions to conservation and the environment. The intent of the Hall of Fame is not only to honor those men and women, but to keep their names and stories alive to inspire future generations.

The Oil City Chapter, IWLA annually puts out a public call for nominations. Eligibility requirements are that a nominated individual be a Venango County native or lived or worked in Venango County. Final selection for induction in the Conservation Hall of Fame is made by a committee comprised of representatives from the Chapter and current CHOF members.

Brief profiles of CHOF members can be found at the Venango County Conservation Hall of Fame Web page hosted by Clarion University.
