The position will gather and post content on TheDerrick.com, TheClarionNews.com and VenangoExtra.com. The ability to form and maintain relationships across our company, our readers and our information sources is crucial to effectively perform this duty. The position will also monitor, and post regularly on, several Facebook, X (Twitter) and Instagram accounts. The ideal candidate will use our social media accounts as a way to interact with our current followers, gain new followers and drive traffic to our websites. Duties are not limited to the above description. The successful candidate will be expected to perform other duties as requested. Basic computer knowledge, social media experience and excellent writing skills are preferred. The position is part-time Monday-Saturday. It could be performed in-person, fully remote or on a hybrid schedule.
