Clarion University to present 2 Holocaust remembrance events

The Clarion University Holocaust Remembrance Committee, Office of Social Equity and Presidential Commission on Racial Equity will join to present Holocaust remembrance events at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 8-9, in Suites on Main North theater.

Both are free and open to the public.

On April 8, Joe Harmon, a civics teacher at Redbank Valley High School, will present a photo tour of sites he visited as one of 20 teachers invited to journey through Poland with Sheryl Ochayon, a Holocaust education expert and daughter of a survivor.

On April 9, the university will show “Who Will Write Our History” based on the book by Samuel Kassow.
