Barrow-Civic Theatre preparing Red Eye Project

The production of the Red Eye Theater Project will take place from 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, until the performance 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Barrow Little Theatre in Franklin.

Auditions will be held at 7:30 p.m., which will be immediately followed by casting.  After casting, writers will work through the night to create an original script.  Directors and actors will return 8
a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, for a meet-and greet breakfast.

Afterwards, they will rehearse into the afternoon.  A final dress rehearsal with light costumes and props will be held until the one-time performance at 7:30 p.m. that same day.

Anyone can participate.  There are no limits and no experience is required.  Auditioners need not prepare, as they will be asked to read random texts in an informal manner. Those interested in
tech, writing or directing, may contact Nicholas Hess at nicholas.a.hess@gmail.com by noon Sept. 14.

Tickets for the performance are $12.
