Nine local students are candidates for the 2017 Oil Heritage Festival queen.
The queen will be crowned at 7:30 p.m. today at the Central Avenue Plaza.
The candidates include:
— Maggie Motter, daughter of Mark and Heather Motter; Oil City High School
— Ivy Chen, daughter of Jimmy and Nina Chen; Oil City High School
— Olivia Klapec, daughter of Michael and Christine Klapec; Oil City High School
— Hannah Schettler, daughter of Stephen and Joan Schettler; Oil City High School
— Lauren Conkle, daughter of Bill and Beth Conkle; Cranberry High School
— Elizabeth Kiefer, daughter of Tom and Amy Kiefer; Cranberry High School
— Erin Merryman, daughter of Wayne and Nicole Merryman; Cranberry High School
— Jenna Ronchi, daughter of Mark and Deborah Ronchi; Venango Catholic High School
