3 facing drug charges after traffic stop

Three people are facing multiple drug-related charges after a vehicle they were traveling in was stopped for a traffic violation July 12 on Route 208 in Salem Township, Clarion County.

Clarion state police identified the three as Victoria Lynn Newbill, 22, of Emlenton; Brendan Edward Golden, 24, of St. Petersburg; and Bryce William Dittman, 18, of Emlenton.

Newbill was charged with felony counts of possessing phenylpropanolamine or a precursor substance with intent to unlawfully manufacture, and manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver.

She is also facing four misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana-small amount/personal use, possession of drug paraphernalia and use-possession of drug paraphernalia.

Golden and Dittman are both facing misdemeanor counts of marijuana-small amount/personal use and use-possession of drug paraphernalia.

Golden was placed in the Clarion County jail on a probation violation detainer, police said.

Dittman and Newbill are facing preliminary arraignments.
