2 injured in Pittsburgh Road crash

Both drivers were injured in this two-vehicle crash at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday on Pittsburgh Road in Franklin. The male driver of a white Ford Focus was transported by a STAT MedEvac helicopter to UPMC Hamot in Erie, and the male driver of an F250 was taken by Community Ambulance Service to UPMC Northwest. There were no passengers in either vehicle. Franklin state police lead investigator Devin Seybert said both vehicles were off the roadway near the southbound lanes in front of the PennDOT garage when he arrived on the scene. Both vehicles had extensive front-end damage. Sandycreek fire chief Jeff Larson is pictured here documenting the crash scene. (By Richard Sayer)
