2 injured in crash on Deep Hollow Road

An Oil City man was flown from the scene of a single-vehicle crash at 8:02 p.m. Saturday on Deep Hollow Road in Cranberry Township.

Franklin state police said Joshua Goodman, 32, was driving south in the 2700 block of Deep Hollow Road when the vehicle left the road.

Police said the vehicle collided with numerous tires that were blocking a driveway and began to rotate counter clockwise.

According to police the vehicle drove across both lanes of the road and left the eastern berm before colliding with a ditch.

Police said the right side rear end of the vehicle collided with the ditch and the vehicle was pushed back onto the roadway where the vehicle came to rest.

Goodman and his passenger William Dolan, 49, of Erie, were not wearing their seat belts, according to police.

According to Venango County 911, Goodman was flown from the scene by STAT MedEvac to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. Police said Dolan was transported by Community Ambulance.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Seneca Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
