2 facing charges for breaking into OC home

From staff reports

Two men are facing charges for breaking into an Oil City home and threatening the occupants with a frying pan.

Oil City police said in a criminal complaint that Damien Sloan, 43, of Oil City, and Jordan Reagle, 27, of Seneca, went to a house on Colbert Avenue on Friday, where Reagle kicked in the back kitchen door after banging on the door.

Reagle and Sloan then entered the kitchen and began yelling for one of the residents of the house, the complaint said.

An occupant of the house noted that Reagle was holding their frying pan, according to the complaint.

The resident then called 911 and at that point Reagle and Sloan fled the residence, the complaint said.

Officers observed footprints in the middle of the kitchen, damage to the frame and broken glass on the back porch, the complaint said.

Reagle and Sloan were both charged with a felony count of burglary-overnight accommodations, person present and two misdemeanor counts each of simple assault and terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another.

Sloan has also been charged with a felony count of conspiracy burglary- overnight accommodations, person present and two misdemeanor counts each of conspiracy-simple assault and conspiracy- terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another.

Reagle and Sloan had not been arraigned on the charges as of Monday afternoon, according to court documents.
