2 arrested in Titusville on drug charges

From staff reports

A routine traffic stop by Titusville police Tuesday morning led to felony drug charges against two people.

The two were identified as Leo A. Hanlon, Jr., 41, of Pleasantville; and Selena Nicole Barker, 28, of Titusville.

Police stopped the vehicle for minor infractions and recognized the driver as Hanlon. He was taken into custody for active warrants in Crawford County and for driving on a suspended license.

Officers said that as they spoke to the two passengers in the vehicle, including Barker, they could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed 1.5 ounces of marijuana, six grams of methamphetamine, three types of prescription narcotics, scales, empty baggies and additional drug paraphernalia, police said.

Hanlon was charged with a felony count of possession with intent to deliver. Barker was charged with a felony count of conspiracy to commit possession with intent to deliver.

Both Hanlon and Barker were placed in the Crawford County jail.

Police said the other passenger in the vehicle may also face charges.
